Ann Haycock

This is an interesting interview with Ann Haycock who displayed two pieces of her work (‘Mound‘ & ‘Bite/Spit‘)  at the Disrupted Narratives exhibition.

Ann graduated from the University of East London in 2006 with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art. At the present Ann is studying a MA in Fine Art at University College Falmouth where her research into everyday items such as clothing and seeds inspires her contemporary works of art. Continue reading

Donaeo Summer Ball

Yesterday I was backstage as the Indigo O2 where I got a chance to film some of the UEL Summer Ball 2010 performances.

One of the headline acts of the night was Donaeo who put down an excellent crowed pleasing performance which you can check out below-listen out for the special shout out at the end of the video.

UEL Summer Ball

The University of East London’s once a year Summer Ball will be taking place this Friday 4th June 2010 at the INDIGO O2. The night will be strictly set to a 007 ‘James Bond‘ theme. This requires gentlemen to wear black suites and ladies smart dresses. Although UEL is hosting the event all members of the public are welcome to come to this end of semester ball. Continue reading

MayFest 2010

On Wednesday 5th May I attended the MayFest 2010 at the University of East London. From 12pm-7pm the UEL campus was host to all kinds of events ranging from market stalls, dance, sport, drama and musical performances. The MayFest is a once a year event which relies on the contribution of UEL students and members of the local community. Continue reading
